Assistant Professor of Photography/Digital Imaging

The Art and Design Department at the University of Southern Indiana is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Photography/Digital Imaging. The position begins in August 2018. The Art and Design Department is NASAD accredited and it has a fully equipped traditional photography lab as well as three recently updated computer labs.

The classroom teaching course load is three studio courses per semester. The Assistant Professor of Photography/Digital Imaging will teach all levels of digital and traditional film photography as well as digital video. The person in this position is expected to participate in departmental service and oversee/maintain the Photography lab with the help of paid student workers. Service in the College of Liberal Arts, the University, and the community will be required for advancement toward tenure.

Candidates must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite and imaging software. MFA in Photography, Video, Digital Imaging, or related field is required with a minimum of 18 semester hours of graduate course work in photography.
